cherry mobile flare 2.0 specs and review


CM Flare 2.0

A quadcore mobile phone from Cherry Mobile, which means two times the speed of the previous CM flare. Recently got leaked from A Thailand Page of Cherry Mobile, and hopefully It will be released soon in the Philippines. Since we all know how the Original CM flareperforms its best, how more for this one, and not only its a Quadcore, but also RAM has been increased to 1GB, that's a lot of RAM to play HD games, the only downside here is that the battery of CM Flare 2.0 is still the same (1500mAh) and the hours of usage will totally be lessen, and we will be carrying our charger very often. Long story short, lets share the news!

Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 Specification

As you can see in the specs,  there are not much different than Original CM Flare, so maybe I can estimate the price range from 4,500php to 5,000php. And as soon as I get my hands on the tut on how to root Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0, I will definitely make a post for that. As of now, we don't have a clue of how much is Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0, price estimation will range from Php4,500 to Php5,000.

Rooting Cherry Mobile Flare S100 via PC


1. Enable USB Debugging - Settings>Developer Options>USB debugging, enable USB debugging check box.

2. Connect your flare to PC 
Important! make sure that all drivers are installed, if installing drivers are unsuccessful download it here and install. 

3.  Download this tool (Bin4ry Tool) CLICK HERE or HERE

4. After installing all drivers, unzip Bin4ry Tool Kit.

5. Open extracted file and run RunMe.Bat file (you will find this file in extracted Bin4ry folder).


6. Just enter 1 for device type in command prompt window which will appear after opening RunMe.Bat file.

7. Follow what the screen says, and the device will root automatically.

8. Disconnect and Reboot your device.

9. If you found "SUPER SU" app, means your now rooted. Congrats!

What is need?
You need a modified Operamini or Ucbrowser software (Softwares are given below). And a GP sim.

Setup Device Configuration:
1. First, setup your device configuration. To do this go Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Network.
2. Then click on Access Point Name.
3. Click New APN
4. Now set the below configuration.
Name: GP-MMS
APN: gpmms
APN Type: Default
Proxy: 10.128.001.002
Port: 8080
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.2
MMS Port: 8080
MCC: 470
MNC: 01
Authentication Type: Not Set
APN Protocol: IPv4

5. Save and set it as your default configuration.
6. Now, download modified Operamini or Ucbrowser from below.
7. If you have any Operamini or Ucbrowser installed in your phone, then unistall them all before install my software.
8. Now, turn On your Mobile Data from settings and then open Ucbrowser or Operamini, you will see a handler menu.
9. From here set Proxy Type : HTTP or HOST or REAL HOST and Proxy Server: 10.6.0.2.8080 @beta.opera-mini.net
10. Now save it.

If you properly follow the all step then Operamini will install. To get fast speed, active any internet package.

Use FrontQuery in Ucbrowser to get better download speed.
Use java cgi link.
